Energize Dance Company is a dedicated group of Energize Dancers who have gone through a placement assessment to measure their technical abilities and performance skills. Once accepted, students are placed into leveled technique classes and dances based on ability and performance style so they can focus on preparing performances for competitions. Energize Dance Company dancers display a strong work ethic and are dedicated to improving their dance technique and performance skills. All dancers in Energize Dance Company are required to take technique classes to help build a strong foundation for all styles of dance. Company members attend at least 3 competitions and 1 convention per season.

Mini Company (Kindergarten - 1st Grade)

Mini Company is our youngest competitive company. Mini Company dancers are required to take 2-3 hours of class each week in ballet, tap, and jazz and attend 3 regional competitions each season. Mini Company dancers audition for 1 group dance and may be invited to participate in as solo only.

Petite Company (2nd-3rd Grade)

Petite Company is our competitive company for dancers in 2nd and 3rd grade. Petite Company dancers take 3 hours of class each week. Perfect for dancers who are just starting out their competitive dance journey. Petite Company dancers attend 3 regional competitions and 1 convention each season. Petite Company dancers audition for 1-2 group dances and have the option to participate in solos, duets, and trios.

Junior Company (4th - 5th Grade)

Junior Company is our competitive company for dancers in 4th and 5th grade. Junior Company dancers take 4-5 hours of class each week. Perfect for dancers who are at the beginning of their competitive dance journey. Junior Company dancers attend 3 regional competitions and 2 conventions each season. Junior Company dancers audition for 2 or more group dances and have the option to participate in solos, duets, and trios.

Teen Company (6th - 8th Grade)

Teen Company is our competitive company for dancers in 6th-8th grade. Teen Company dancers take 6+ hours of class each week and attend 2 conventions, 3 regional competitions each season. Teen Company dancers audition for 2 or more group dances and have the option to participate in solos, duets, and trios. Teen company dancers will be placed in level 1 or 2 classes based on their technique level.

Senior Company (9th - 12th Grade)

Senior Company is our oldest competitive company for dancers in 9th-12th grade. Senior Company dancers take 6+ hours of class each week and attend 2 conventions, 3 regional competitions each season. Senior Company dancers audition for 2 or more group dances and have the option to participate in solos, duets, and trios. Senior company dancers will be placed in level 1 or 2 classes based on their technique level.
